Britt Fohrman

Britt creates a healing, loving, and supportive environment for women in all stages of the childbearing years, in her work as a yoga teacher, birth educator, photographer, and birth doula.  A lifelong photographer, her career in holistic maternity care began in 2000 as a bodyworker and has evolved to include commissioned pregnancy portraits, public yoga classes, annual retreats, workshops, private sessions and a forthcoming photography book about conscious childbirth.  In addition to helping pregnant families prepare for a conscious birth, Birth also mentors doulas, helping them to create a sustainable, satisfying and successful practice.
Based in San Francisco, Britt is an avid surfer, dancer, dog lover and Laughter Yoga enthusiast.

Katharine Hatch, Ph.D.

Katie Hatch is a licensed psychologist in private practice in San Rafael. She specializes in women’s reproductive health issues, including infertility, pregnancy-related and postpartum emotional health, and perinatal loss. Sharmaine Collier

Sharmaine is a Certified Hypnotherapist from the American Council of Hypnotist Examiners since 2010 as well as a Registered Nurse since 1982. She has worked in-hospital for 35 years with 16 years in adult ICU and 10 years in obstetrics.

Rebecca Wood, LCSW

Rebecca is the Director of Parent’s Place Marin, a division of Jewish Family and Children’s Services. In addition to coordinating Parents Place programs, Rebecca offers parent counseling and consultations to address challenges and concerns that arise at home and in school. Her other areas of expertise include play therapy, behaviorally focused treatment of high-risk children and adolescents, post-traumatic stress disorder in children who have experienced physical or sexual abuse, Triple P (Positive Parenting Program), and resources for parents of children with special needs. Rebecca holds her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Bates College and her MSW from the University of Michigan, where she focused on interpersonal practice with children, youth, and families. Shannon Kozubik

Shannon owns and runs Pomegranate, a yoga studio for women and families in Marin County. Every week, clients share their favorite (and not so favorite) experiences with birth, health, and parenting professionals while checking in to yoga and workshops.
