After enjoying pre-natal classes at Pomegranate, she started volunteering for SMMC (Southern Marin Mother’s Club) and subsequently joined the Board, first for 2 years as Director of Membership and presently as Director of Online Services for her 2nd year. She loves the vibrant community of passionate Moms (and Dads!) that make Marin such a fun place to live and raise kids.  Check out SMMC

Pamela, founder of Marin Mommies, grew up in San Rafael and worked in the publishing industry before taking time off to raise her two kids and subsequently create Marin Mommies, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year. When not in front of the computer or out and about researching stories for Marin Mommies, Pamela can be found in the kitchen, taking photos, hiking Marin’s trails, at the pool cheering on the swim team, or volunteering at her children’s schools.

Marin Mommies, the go-to guide for parents and families in Marin County and the San Francisco Bay Area, launched in 2007 and serves 100,000+ readers every month. Pamela started Marin Mommies in response to the need for an online source more information and resources for local parents, and has built it into an online lifestyle magazine with articles, guide to schools and summer camps, and more. Check out Marin Mommies
